Homemade Specialties Corn Chowder

  • Corn Chowder - Bring 6 cups of water and soup mix to a boil. Cover, cook over medium heat for 15 minutes stirring often.  Add 1/4 cup of dairy or non-diary product of your choice and cook for an additional 5 minutes uncovered until vegetables are tender.  Optional:  Add cooked chicken or turkey.  Makes 6 - one cup servings.

    Sweet Potato Chili - Bring 8 cups of water and chili mix to a boil.  Cover, cook over medium heat for 20 minutes stirring often.  Add 14.5oz can of no salt diced tomatoes and cook for an additional 30 to 40 minutes uncovered on medium/high until reaching desired consistency.  Makes 7 one-cup servings.
